Ang Caviteño newsweekly is one of the pioneer newspapers of Cavite that has been providing its citizens with local news since 1981. It was started by Victorino Dela Peña who already had an established newspaper in the province of Batangas, he wanted to expand his operations and be one of the first to establish a newspaper in Cavite. Since his passing in 2010, His wife Remedios Dela Peña and trusted manager Jaquilou Liro have fulfilled the role of running the two newspapers. Now at 45 years in business, Ang Caviteño Newsweekly continues to run strong. |
